Resolutions, Ordinances and Moratoriums

What is the difference?

Resolutions generally deal with special, administrative, or temporary matters.

Ordinances are the highest and most authoritative form of action by a municipal governing body to amend the Town Code.

Moratoriums are a temporary suspension of an activity or law until a problem is resolved.
