Welcome!
Hot Sulphur Springs is the oldest little town in Grand County established in 1860. Originally the Indians came for the hot springs and made this their summer campground. In 1864, founder of the Rocky Mountain News, William Newton Byers bought the Hot Sulphur Springs town site. Now our population is almost 700 friendly, relaxed residents that smile and wave at each other while taking a walk. See breathtaking views, wildlife, wild flowers and breath in the clean mountain air at 7697 feet above sea level.
